Pennsylvania Tick Research Lab: Speaker: Fayroza Elsayed,
Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Testing & Statistics | PA Tick Research Lab My name is Fayroza Elsayed, and I joined the Tick Research Lab of Pennsylvania in December 2025 as a Public Health Assistant. I recently graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in public health and a concentration in Community Health Education. I am passionate about addressing health disparities and have worked with a variety of underserved populations, including low-income families and hospice patients. Through my experiences, I have developed a strong interest in health education, community outreach, and improving access to public health resources. At the Tick Research Lab of Pennsylvania, I hope to help increase awareness of tick-borne illnesses and support public health initiatives that promote healthier, more informed communities throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions.
