Project Healing Waters
"Project Healing Waters brings a high-quality, full-spectrum fly fishing program to an ever-expanding number of disabled active military service personnel across the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, in Military Hospitals and the Warrior Transition Command. We focus our resources wherever the need is greatest and expand our partner base in the process. PHWFF has become recognized as an innovative leader and model in the field of therapeutic outdoor recreation for the disabled, through its successful application of the sport of fly fishing as a rehabilitation tool." - from
Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs, for the last few years, have hosted a day of fishing for our veterans.  For more information on volunteering at this event email
Annual Not Just Another Auction
Past Annual Events
The Annual Not Just Another Auction is a fun filled night where Rotarians and the community gather to support the Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs service projects.  All monies raised go towards local and international organizations and each year there is one organization that is our Presidential Focus.  There is a silent and live auction, LIVE entertainment and a wonderful themed dinner.  This year's theme was Luck of the Irish and we were entertained with some Irish music and dancing from the Gallagher School of Irish Dance.  This evening is also when we award an outstanding member of our community for their continued commitment and volunteerism in serving others with the Buzz Bensinger Lifetime Achievment Award.  The recipients for 2017 was Charlie and Ginny Kirkwood.
Fall Highway CleanUp
Interactors joined Stroudsbug Rotarians on the highway cleanup where they found a TV on the highway!  Great job keeping our neighborhood clean for all to enjoy!
Past Rotary Events
VALOR Hotel Jonas Project to help homeless and disabled veterans.
Pocono Alliance All-Inclusive Playground
Through our fundraising efforts our club was able to donate to this great project and contributed to the Sound Garden.  This playground is for children of ALL abilities.
