Community Service

The Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs looks into participating in a service project they look for those projects that do more than just offer a quick fix for problems.  For us, the most effective projects:

  -Respond to real issues

  -Improve community members' lives

  -Incorporate the abilities of those who are served

  -Recognize the contributions of all participants as important & necessary

  -Are based on realistic assessment of available resources

  -Aim for specific goals and objectives with measurable results

  -Build effective networks

  -Empower people and communities
