Suzanne Smith: Community Health Leader, Educator & Advocate

With a strong background in Community Health, Business Administration, and Business Economics, I am a relationship-focused professional recognized for building trust, fostering collaboration, and creating meaningful connections across diverse communities. My career has been centered on service excellence, continuous improvement, and developing innovative solutions that support both individual and community well-being.

Currently, I serve as a Community Health Liaison at St. Luke's University Health Network, where I develop and implement initiatives aligned with the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). In this role, I act as a bridge between healthcare providers, community organizations, educational institutions, and residents, helping to address health and social needs through strategic partnerships, outreach, and resource coordination. I also serve on several boards throughout Carbon and Monroe Counties, contributing to initiatives that strengthen community health, education, and development.

My professional experience includes a proven track record in learning and development, where I have created inclusive, engaging, and supportive environments for learners of diverse ages, backgrounds, and experiences. I am skilled in individual and small-group instruction, curriculum development, multicultural engagement, and the integration of innovative multimedia tools to enhance learning and drive skill development. My instructional approach is further strengthened by extensive experience with healthcare technology and applications, including Epic systems.

I hold certifications as a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP) and Epic Credentialed Trainer, and I am proficient in leveraging Microsoft technologies and other digital tools to support education, collaboration, and organizational success. In addition, I am a Pennsylvania Public Notary and a Pennsylvania Licensed Life Insurance Producer, and I am currently working toward becoming a Pennsylvania Notary Signing Agent, with anticipated completion in September 2026.

As a passionate advocate for public health and community engagement, I am committed to lifelong learning, professional development, and fostering collaborative partnerships that improve health outcomes and quality of life. Through effective communication, leadership, and a dedication to service, I strive to make a meaningful and lasting impact within the communities I serve and throughout the healthcare network.
