Bushkill Emergency Corps received a generous grant of $500 from the Rotary of the Stroudsburg which will be used to purchase an Intraosseous Vascular Access System (EZ IO) gun and needles. The equipment is used to allow Paramedics to gain immediate access for administration of medications by drilling directly through a bone and into the bone marrow. An advanced treatment, this is vital when gaining access to deliver life-saving medications becomes necessary. Bushkill Emergency Corps is very grateful for this grant and the support the Rotary of the Stroudsburg provides to community-based organizations such as ours.
