From WNEP 16:

The Rotary Club of Stroudsburgs has organized an event today that's aimed at using fly fishing to help wounded veterans heal from their experiences during wartime.  Today's event coincides with a national nonprofit known as "Project Healing Waters."  According to its website, the organization is "dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings."

In our area, several local outings have been organized over the next few weeks including today's by the Rotary Club of Stroudsburgs.  Today's will take place this afternoon from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Stroudsburg area.

Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey took a look at the project helping heal in the Stroudsburg Area.
