Presentation by Roger Mattes Jr, District Governor for 2018-2019.
  • DG Mattes discussed the impact Rotary International has made on ending Polio.  Cases are down to 14 cases in two countries.
  • Our District is unique in that 1/2 the clubs have 20 or less members.  Looking for ways to create synergies and share ideas and projects to be more impactful.
  • DG Mattes has four main focus areas for his time as District Governor:
    • Increase involvement in International Programs.  By promoting International our membership will grow.
    • Expand youth programs, they are future Rotarians.
    • Make Rotary Fun again.
    • Attend a District Conference.
  • There are 42 clubs in our District.  Use the Rotary Club Locator App to find other clubs and visit!!
