Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and learn more about our Member of the Week.
The Month of December in Rotary is Disease Prevention and Treatment. This is one of the Foundations Areas of Focus and one in which many of us would be aware of the numerous projects around the world supported by clubs and the Foundation.
We believe good health care is everyone’s right. Yet 400 million people in the world can’t afford or don’t have access to basic health care.
Disease results in misery, pain, and poverty for millions of people worldwide. That’s why treating and preventing disease is so important to us. We lead efforts both large and small. We set up temporary clinics, blood donation centers, and training facilities in underserved communities struggling with outbreaks and health care access. We design and build infrastructure that allows doctors, patients, and governments to work together.
Last Week: Leslie Underhill, our Membership Chair, had members fill out questions on; why you joined Rotary, why did you stay, what made you come to Rotary...
It's about sharing Rotary with your friends and family and all the great things we accomplish locally and abroad. Then say those famous words, "would you like to have lunch with us." Just invite them for lunch or dinner with no expectations, just fellowship.

At the board meeting last night President Dave Yarosh presented Ed Schaefer with his long overdue pin for his service in being a board member.
President Dave Yarosh signed on the dotted line, as Pres Elect Dave Woods supervised. It has become official that we are the chartering organization for the Boy Scouts Family Pack Troop - 86b(boy) and 86g (girl).
This Weeks Inspiration
“People who laugh actually live longer than those who don’t laugh. Few persons realize that health actually varies according to the amount of laughter.” – James J. Walsh

Tricia Wingerter's ticket was picked, however, since the cards were missing the Queen remained hidden. But Tricia was paid 1/2 of the day's collection - $39.00 due to the mishap.
Thank you for your continued involvement in service projects, meeting attendance at both meetings, & assistance in setting up and breaking down the room for Rotary. We appreciate your involvement and dedication.
