November is Foundation Month - The Rotary Foundation was founded in 1917 and transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.
The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
What impact can one donation have?
For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
$50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
$500 can launch an anti-bullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.
Thank you Cheryl Cloke Agency for informing our lunch club on the changes in Medicare and what we need to watch out for. Besides proving Medicare options, Cheryl also provides health insurance to individuals under 65.
For the evening meeting Jennifer Pandolfo shared about the wonderful services Sight for Hope provides and we also had a hands on experience of being blindfolded.
President Dave Yarosh delivered the Thanksgiving donations Stroudsburgs Rotarians brought in for Valor.
