Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and learn more about our Member of the Week.
The Month of December in Rotary is Disease Prevention and Treatment. This is one of the Foundations Areas of Focus and one in which many of us would be aware of the numerous projects around the world supported by clubs and the Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
What impact can one donation have?
For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
$50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
$500 can launch an anti-bullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.
The district has some positions that need to be filled with Rotarians throughout the District.
Are you interested in working with the Youth in the District? If so consider one of the following: Youth Service Chair Rotaract Chair Interact Chair Youth Protection Officer
Are you interested in the Foundation Committee? Consider one of the following: Annual Fund & Fundraising Chair Polio Plus Chair
We also need: Alumni Chair International Service Chair Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair
Thank you for your continued support in setting up and breaking down the room for Rotary. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. We appreciate your participation and involvement in various committees. We appreciate you!!!
