Prayers for Gary Roberts is back home from the hospital. Here is a post from his daughter Cherise the other day:
💛 Dad Update 💛
It's been a few days so I thought y'all like to know how Dad (Gary) doing. He came home from the hospital last Thursday and was feeling pretty good considering. He's on oxygen now which is a pain in the butt but considering everything it's not too bad. He made it into the office for a few hours on Friday and to Logan's Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet on Saturday. He's still getting over the bronchitis and pneumonia and has to be reminded of that from time to time. A Physical Therapist came to the house today and the main issue is balance. Tomorrow an Occupational Therapist and a Visiting Nurse are going to come evaluate him tomorrow. I don't know that he's going to need all this "attention" but if any of it can help him get well and faster and not wind up back in the Hospital Mom (Michelle) and I are all for it!!!
Please keep those prayers coming!!!
Mike Kuhns sports writer for The Pocono Record shared his story about being a writer with the club on Thursday 3/2. In the beginning of his career he showed up to games with a pen and paper he wrote about the game and a day later the article would be in print form in the daily newspaper. With the advent of technology everyone wants to BE in the moment with the game and not have to wait until the next day. Mike now uses his laptop, tablet and smart phone to post LIVE game updates on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites. He shared stories of lives he has touched through sports recognition and how those athletes have also touched his life tremendously.
